Best Photos for Hotel Lobby AI: A Photo Checklist
A short checklist for photos that keep faces, outfits and sides clear.
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Why your photos matter
Each photo replaces one performer in the reference video. The AI carries over the face, hair, outfit and accessories it can see, so a clear photo gives it more to keep. It cannot add details that are not in the photo.
Photo checklist
- One person per photo. Crop out anyone else, including people in the background.
- A clearly visible face: looking at the camera or slightly turned, eyes open, no sunglasses, mask or hand over the face.
- Shoulders and upper body in view, wearing the outfit you want in the video. A tight face crop leaves little outfit to copy.
- Even light, without strong backlight, deep shadows or coloured party lighting.
- A sharp, unfiltered image: no motion blur, heavy beauty filters or face-changing effects.
- Consent: each photo shows an adult who agreed to be in the video.
File requirements
Use JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB, and at least 512 pixels wide and tall. These checks only cover the file. They do not verify identity, age, ownership or consent.
What two photos cannot show
Two separate photos do not show how tall the two people are next to each other, so the video will not reflect a real height difference. The pose in your photo does not change the performance either: the movement follows the reference.
Check before you spend credits
The first photo becomes the left performer and the second becomes the right. The cast preview shows where each photo goes, not what the finished video will look like. Use Swap if needed, then review the quote before you generate.
